Boby has over thirteen years of experience in fine dining and world influenced global cuisines. Boby is also a co-owner of Padaek, Thip Khao, and Baan Mae in his hometown of Washington, DC.

As a private chef, Boby works with California seasonal sensibilities with an emphasis on Southeast Asian, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, French, and Spanish cuisine.

Boby’s spirit for Lao cuisine and culture is represented so colorfully in his food! The Lao Khao Soi dumplings and Moak Phet Goong were plated to perfection.

My favorite part was the family-style meal that brought Laotian flavors while highlighting the best ingredients Boby could find. Porchetta and Rib eye from my favorite local butcher impressed all the guests, and the rice congee made me think of a childhood favorite. Boby’s love and hard work made everything perfect.

An AMAZING private dinner with Chef Boby Pradachith! I had been looking for a Lao chef for several months to cook a traditional Lao dinner for myself & guests. Chef Boby arrived with all his gear & was very organized with his skills & service.
